Hello, my name is Kaveesh and I'm a 16 year old IB student, currently nearing the end of DP 1. My HL subject selection for the DP is Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. Out of the three, Biology is the subject that always piques my interest. I have always had a strong passion for medicine and a desire to become a doctor and a surgeon. I have always been fascinated by the human body and how it functions, and I am committed to using my knowledge and skills to improve the lives of others. To help me achieve my long time dream, I aim to attend medicine course in a university in UK. Over the past 2 years, I have pursued various opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the medical field, such as volunteering at local hospitals and shadowing healthcare professionals. I believe that with hard work, dedication and a tiresome 7-8 years, I can achieve my goal of becoming a skilled surgeon.
